Dominican Friars of Providence College to present lectures on the Acts of the Apostles

Pro-Life Spring Rosary Novena
PROVIDENCE — Please join Servants of Christ for Life on Saturday mornings from now until June 22 for the Spring Rosary Novena. Mass will begin at 8 a.m., at Holy Ghost on Atwells Avenue, followed by praying the rosary at Planned Parenthood at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend and offer up this time in prayer for an end to abortion. Clam Boil and Steak Fry to benefit OLMC robotics program
BRISTOL — Bristol Knights of Columbus, Council 379 will host a clam boil and steak fry on Saturday May 18 at 6 p.m. in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center on State Street. Proceeds will benefit the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Robotics program. Message of Fatima
EAST PROVIDENCE — St. Martha Parish, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., will host a day on the message of Fatima on Saturday, May 18. The schedule is as follows: 8:45 a.m., Procession of Our Lady and crowning ceremony; 9:15 a.m. Rosary; 9:45 a.m., Holy Mass and consecration of parish; 10:45 a.m., coffee/refreshments after Mass; 11 a.m., showing of video: “Fatima the great sign;” Noon, Fatima Q&A with priest; 12:30 p.m., Brown Scapular and Miraculous Medal enrollment. Knights to sponsor ‘Teens Are Dynamite Supper’
WOONSOCKET — The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the annual “Teens Are Dynamite Supper” on Saturday, May 18, from 5- 7:30 p.m. in the St. Agatha Church hall, 34 Joffre Ave., to benefit both the Father Marot and Rejoice in Hope Youth Centers. Tickets can be purchased at the door. This event features all you can eat dynamites or hot dogs, chips, beer for 21+. A multi-prize raffle will be held at the event.
Mass for healing offered at St. James Chapel
CHARLESTOWN— A Mass for healing will be offered at St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, on Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m., by Father Paul Desmarais, pastor of St. Mary/St. James Parish. Those whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age may receive the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick within Mass. 35th annual Lakeside Family Festival
EAST FREETOWN, Mass. — St. John Neumann Church invites all to their 35th annual Lakeside Family Festival during Memorial Day Weekend, May 24‒27, from 6-11 p.m. on Friday; Saturday and Sunday noon-11 p.m.; and Monday noon-5 p.m., with a huge Barn Sale all weekend, plus amusement rides and entertainment. WEST WARWICK — The next Mass for Recovery will be offered on Sunday, May 26, 5 p.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 70 Church St. These Masses, to which all are welcome, provide an opportunity for people to come together in faith to seek God’s loving kindness and grace with special prayer intentions dedicated for those in recovery. If you or loved ones struggle with alcohol, drugs, addictions, mental distress, or support folks who suffer from the effects of these issues, you are encouraged to attend. Garden Party and Parish Picnic at St. Agnes Church
PROVIDENCE — St. Agnes Church, 351 Branch Ave., will hold its annual Garden Party and Parish Picnic on Sunday, May 26, after the 10 a.m. Mass. You can plant a perennial or flowering shrub in memory of a loved one. Children are encouraged to plant annuals on the church grounds. The picnic will follow the planting.

Memorial Day Mass
EAST BLACKSTONE, Mass. — A Memorial Day Mass for all the faithful departed will be celebrated on Monday, May 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, 116 Farm St. Worshippers are welcome to bring a lawn chair. In the event of rain, a notice will be posted on stcharlesborromeo.com that morning and the Mass will then be held upstairs in the parish church of St. Charles on Daniel St., Woonsocket. Mass at St. Mary Church to be celebrated for the protection, defense of human life
WEST WARWICK— All are invited to join together in St. Mary Church, 68 Church St., on Friday, May 31, the Feast of the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated for the protection and defense of human life, from biological conception to natural death. CHARLESTOWN — Saint Mary’s Respect Life Committee will host pro-life advocate Tyler Rowley of Servants of Christ for Life. He will speak on counseling women who are considering an abortion. Magnificat Breakfast to feature international Christian recording artist with local roots
PROVIDENCE — The Magnificat International Women’s Ministry will hold its next breakfast on Saturday, June 15, from 8:30 a.m. - noon at the Providence Marriot, One Orms Street, in Providence.
