On Saturday, Nov. 2, St. Brendan Parish hosted the annual Scouting for Food Collection. This is the 2nd consecutive year that the parish has been the collection host site for the Riverside area of East Providence. Scouts from St. Brendan’s Pack 4, pictured, and Troop 4 were joined by Pack 5 from St. Martha Church and Troop 55 of Riverside, to collect more than 5,000 pounds of food. All food collected was donated to the Good Neighbors Food Pantry at St. Brendan’s Parish, which serves the East Providence Community on Wednesdays from 9 - 11 a.m. and 12 - 1 p.m., and every second Saturday of the month from
10 a.m.- 12 p.m.
