STURBRIDGE, Mass. — Assumptionist Father Philip E.?Bonvouloir, 82, died April 28 at St. Anne Shrine after a brief illness.
He was ordained in Lormoy, France in 1957 and served his community in many assignments, including serving as the pastor for the Hispanic community at St. Joseph Church in Pawtucket from 1999 to 2007. He lived at St. Anne Shrine since his retirement.
A Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated May 2 in St. Joachim Chapel at the shrine. Burial was in St. Anne Cemetery, Sturbridge.
