Rev. Msgr. Albert A. Kenney, S.T.L., Diocesan Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, joined other faith leaders at a press conference held by Governor Dan McKee and Housing Secretary Stefan Pryor on Friday October 13, 2023 to discuss the state’s winter strategy to address homelessness.
Msgr. Kenney remarked, “The Diocese of Providence and Bishop Henning remain committed to increasing our efforts to assist the unhoused and unsheltered in our beloved state. Today we faith leaders stand as one dedicated to the common call that runs through our faith traditions: to give aid to those in the most need, to provide for those who are seeking shelter, and to work towards the goal of giving to those who are seeking what we all truly wish for: A home. May God bless our efforts.”
