Talk on Christian manhood offered for fathers and sons
NEWPORT — Young men in high school and their fathers are invited to an evening of prayer and discussion as they seek to strengthen their souls as Christian men. Lenten Missions at Scalabrini parishes
PROVIDENCE — All three parishes in the Diocese of Providence staffed by the Missionaries of St. Charles (Scalabrinians) have joined together this year to offer Lenten missions in English and Italian. The two English missions will take place at St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, March 30-April 2, 7 p.m., and at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, April 6 -April 11, 7 p.m. Both missions will be preached by Bishop Lawrence Sabatini, C.S., retired bishop of the Diocese of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
