Bishop Thomas J. Tobin celebrated Mass Sunday at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul before presenting more than 100 awards to young people from across the diocese and the adults who support their efforts in the areas of Catholic Youth Ministry and Scouting.

The purpose of this National Award Program is to provide the recipient with a unique opportunity to develop new insights into herself, friends, family and the world around her. The Marian Medal work enables girls to discuss and share in order to come to a better understanding of the Christian life.
