With faith and service, missionaries from St. Thomas More Church travel to serve the poor in Louisiana

St. Thomas More Parish in Narragansett recently sent a team of 22 missionaries to St. Martinsville, Louisiana, in early March, where they served with the Jesus Crucified Community. During their visit they worked at the Mother Theresa Soup Kitchen and the Don Bosco Center for Youth. They worked all week to serve the poor by building a ramp, changing and rebuilding a new floor, painting buildings, and cooking and working with young homeless teens. They also spent several hours a day in prayer.
