Traveling Rosary Congress
PROVIDENCE — The Diocese of Providence will host the Traveling Rosary Congress from October 1- 7. The Rosary Congress is a weeklong period of intense, around the clock prayer consisting of Perpetual Adoration and hourly Rosary, offered in a spirit of reparation. Join together with other dioceses across the nation to pray for the healing of our Church, our families, and our nation (see rosarycongressusa.org). As the Church suffers from persecution from within and without, as family life is attacked more viciously than ever before, and as life continues to be threatened in its most vulnerable stages, we need this unified prayer now more than ever. The Rosary Congress will travel to a different parish for each 24-hour period from October 1 - 7. Visit dioceseofprovidence.org/rosary for more.

The schedule as of 09/15:

Saturday, October 1: Opening Mass 7:15 a.m. & Adoration 8 a.m. - 8 a.m. — St. Patrick Church, Providence

Sunday, October 2: Adoration 8 a.m. - 8 a.m. — SS. Rose and Clement, Warwick

Holy Hour planned at St. Philip Church
GREENVILLE — In celebration of the Eucharistic Revival taking place in the diocese and around the U.S., a Holy Hour will be held at Saint Philip Church on October 7 at 7 p.m. The evening will include prayer of the Rosary as well as Solemn Sung Vespers ending with Benediction. The National Eucharistic Revival is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery. Jesus needs each one of us to be his hands and feet throughout this Eucharistic Revival.
