Traveling Choir performs at St. Teresa School, Pawtucket

The Evangelistic Choir of Koinonia Academy, a Catholic high school located in Plainfield, New Jersey, recently performed for the student body at St. Teresa School in Pawtucket. The choir, under the direction of Valerie Torkelson, has gone on tour annually for a week each spring to sing and pray with parishes, schools, nursing homes and youth groups in areas as diverse as Poland, Montreal, Michigan, Maryland, Virginia and the New England Region. They perform songs and sketches centering on the themes of truth, beauty and goodness, which are also the tenets of the classical education that Koinonia students receive.
