St. Luke Knights of Columbus Support Local Seminarian on his journey to the priesthood

BARRINGTON — Barrington native Alexander Richardson, a seminarian in priestly formation for the Diocese of Providence, greets Joe Lofgren, head of the Knights of Columbus council at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Barrington.

On October 11, Lofgren presented Richardson with a monetary gift to express the entire council’s support for the 31-year-old as continues in seminary formation.

“Having the Knights behind me means a lot to me,” Richardson said. “Their helping hands remind me that, as St. Paul the Apostle wrote, ‘There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit, different forms of service but the same Lord.’”
