2023 Human Life Guild Day
PROVIDENCE — The 2023 Human Life Guild Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, beginning with Holy Mass in the cathedral celebrated by Most Rev. Richard G. Henning, D.D., S.T.D., Bishop of Providence; with Rev. Ryan W. Connors, S.T.D., Dean of Men and Professor at Saint John’s Seminary, Boston, homilist. Open House at St. Mary Academy Bay View
RIVERSIDE — St. Mary Academy Bay View will hold an open house on Sunday, Oct. 29, at noon. Holiday Bazaar at Our Lady of Czenstochowa Parish
COVENTRY — Our Lady of Czenstochowa Parish, 222 MacArthur Blvd., will host a Holiday Bazaar on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 – 10 a.m., and Polish and American food will be served from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (or until sold out). Concert at St. Jude to benefit food pantry
LINCOLN — A Benefit Concert for the Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry, with music by Diane Walsh and friends, will take place on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. All proceeds go to support the pantry. The event will take place at St. Jude Church. If possible, please bring a canned good or non-perishable food item donation.

Parish Yard Sale
NORTH KINGSTOWN — St. Francis de Sales Parish, 381 School St., will hold its annual indoor Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine. Items include jewelry, housewares, toys, games, electronics, CDs, furniture, books and baked goods. The kitchen will be open for refreshments.

Mass for Recovery
PORTSMOUTH — The next Mass for Recovery at St. Barnabas, 1697 E. Main Road, will be offered on Sunday, Oct. 29, 5 p.m. These Masses, to which all are welcome, provide an opportunity for people to come together in faith, as we seek God’s mercy, kindness and grace, with special prayer intentions dedicated to those in recovery. If you or a loved one struggles with alcohol, drugs, addictions, mental distress, or you support folks who suffer from the effects of these issues, you are encouraged to attend. Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair
WOONSOCKET — Holy Trinity Parish will hold their annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. – 4p.m., in the parish hall, 1371 Park Ave., which is handicap accessible. The event will feature many special raffles, vendors, homemade pastries and fudge, photos with Santa, children’s crafts. Christmas Bazaar
WOONSOCKET— St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, 174 Harris Ave., will hold their Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Polish food, dynamites and hotdogs will be available for take-out or eat-in. Six Black Catholics on the Road to Sainthood
PROVIDENCE — An evening with ValLimar Jansen will take place Monday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St. Celebrate Black Catholic History month and the Feast of All Saints with accomplished Catholic speaker, artist and performer ValLimar Jansen, to learn about six black Catholics who are on the road to sainthood. Hosted by St. Patrick Church and the diocesan Office of Black Catholic Ministry.

The United States Visit of the Apostle of the Impossible
PROVIDENCE / WESTERLY — The Tour of the Relics of Saint Jude the Apostle is coming to the Diocese of Providence November 9-10. The Arm of St. Jude the Apostle will visit St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road, Providence on Thursday, Nov. 9 and Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly on Fri., November 10. The schedule for each day includes Veneration of the relic from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and a Special Mass celebrated in honor of Saint Jude at 7 p.m. Details at www.apostleoftheimpossible.com.

Fall Pasta Dinner
BARRINGTON — Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave., will host a Fall Pasta Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 4-7 p.m., downstairs in the elevator-accessible hall. The meal features hearty minestrone soup, antipasto, pasta and meatballs, bread and butter, and soda or water, along with coffee and dessert. A smaller sized pasta dinner is available for children. Knights plan Veterans Day Mass and Statue Rededication
WOONSOCKET — The Woonsocket Council #113 Knights of Columbus will host a Mass and a rededication of the St. Michael the Archangel Statue in front of St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Road on Monday, Nov. 11. This statue was originally purchased by the Veterans of St. Joseph Parish in 1961. The service will take place approximately at 9 a.m., following a memorial Mass in the church at 8 a.m. All veteran groups are most welcome. Every Veterans Day the Woonsocket Knights of Columbus honor their past members of the council during this Mass.

St. Vincent de Paul Church to host Harvest Bazaar
COVENTRY — St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., will host a Harvest Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The event will feature Madeleine’s Kitchen, basket raffle, crafts, baked goods, Grandma’s attic, raffles, grocery bingo, lottery tree, and balloon animals from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Christmas Bazaar at Sacred Heart
WEST WARWICK — The annual Sacred Heart Church Christmas Bazaar will be held at the church hall, 820 Providence St., on Friday, Nov. 10 from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. The event will feature arts and crafts, penny social, jewelry, wine booth, roll-ups, basket raffle, home goods, and our famous homemade pastry. Our Mrs. Claus’ Attic is bigger than ever. Kitchen is open throughout the event. Friday night will feature chowder and clam cakes.

Holiday Bazaar
