St. Barnabas Lenten Dinner

PORTSMOUTH — St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, will host a Lenten Dinner on Friday, March 27, in the church hall. The event will feature baked filet of sole with seafood stuffing, lobster rolls, clam chowder, coleslaw, dessert, a complimentary mac and cheese option for children under 6 and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance by March 26 at 3 p.m. by calling 401-683-1343 or visiting the parish office.

Chrism Mass

PROVIDENCE — The Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul, 30 Fenner St., will hold the annual Chrism Mass on Monday, March 30, at 6 p.m. Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski, C.Ss.R., will celebrate Mass with the renewal of priestly promises, and consecrate the blessing of holy oils. An ASL interpreter will be present for the deaf and hard of hearing. Tenebrae Service

NORTH SCITUATE — St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, will hold a Tenebrae Service titled “Shadow and Crown” on Wednesday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature short reflections from the perspectives of John the Beloved and Pontius Pilate, as well as new sacred music performed by Stephen DeCesare and the St. Joseph’s Adult Choir

Good Friday Walk

PAWTUCKET/CENTRAL FALLS — St. John the Baptist Church Hall, 69 Quincy Ave., will hold its annual Good Friday Walk on Friday, April 3, beginning at 9 a.m. The four-mile event will feature a blessing, a walk through Pawtucket and Central Falls, and a lunch of grilled cheese and chowder. Rosary of Migration with Bishop Bruce

CENTRAL FALLS — Fuerza Laboral, 6 Chases Lane, will be the meeting point for a “Rosary of Migration” with Bishop Bruce on Holy Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. Participants will walk to the Wyatt Detention Center to pray for detained brothers and sisters; for more information, visit www.dioceseofprovidence.org/rosary-of-migration.

Divine Mercy Sunday

WARWICK — St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Ave., will host a Divine Mercy Sunday event on Sunday, April 12. The day begins with confessions from 1 to 3:30 p.m., followed by exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 1 p.m., the Holy Rosary at 1:30 p.m., reflections on Divine Mercy at 2 p.m., and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction at 3 p.m. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. by Most Rev. Feast of Divine Mercy

EAST PROVIDENCE — St. Martha’s Church, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., will celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 12. The event will feature Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 2 to 4:30 p.m., confessions from 2 to 3 p.m., the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in song at 3 p.m., the Rosary and Benediction at 4 p.m. and Mass at 5 p.m.

Rachel’s Vineyard Post-Abortion Healing Retreats

NARRAGANSETT — St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., will hold Stations in the Streets on Good Friday, April 3, beginning at 12 p.m. The event will feature a re-enactment of Jesus’ final journey to Calvary with a cross-bearing procession via Ocean Road, the sea wall, and under the Narragansett Towers. Laudato Si Presentation

WARWICK — St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, will host a presentation titled “We’re in This Together: The Vision of Laudato Si” on Saturday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. The event will feature a deep-dive discussion into the encyclical by Professor Ben Hohman of Salve Regina University.

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

PROVIDENCE — The Diocese of Providence will host the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage “One Nation Under God” from Tuesday, June 30, to Thursday, July 2. The event will feature daily Mass, walking processions, Eucharistic adoration, witness talks, and service projects at various locations.
