Eucharistic Adoration for Families
WARREN — Saint Alexander Church, 221 Main St., will host a family-friendly period of Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesdays in Lent from 6-7 p.m., helping children to learn about and grow in reverence for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Weekly 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration vigils
WARREN — St. Alexander’s Church, 221 Main St., will hold a 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration Vigil each week of Lent through March 27 on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. through Wednesdays at 9 a.m. A family adoration hour will take place 6-7 p.m. For more information, email SMBAdoration@gmail.com.

Stations of the Cross at St. Ann’s Church
PROVIDENCE — Stations of the Cross will take place at St. Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins St., on Fridays during Lent, from 6:30 – 7 p.m. Stations are held in the upper church, which is handicap accessible, please use the side elevator door on Russo Street.
Fish and Chips dinners at Church of the Holy Ghost
TIVERTON — On Fridays in Lent, the Church of the Holy Ghost, 316 Judson St., will host Fish and Chip dinners in Holy Family Hall, from noon–7 p.m. The menu will feature baked or fried fish with veggies, mashed potatoes, French fries, bread and butter, drinks and desserts. Our Lady of the Rosary Fish Fry Fridays
PROVIDENCE — On Fridays in Lent, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., will host a fish fry, from 5–8 p.m., in the church hall. Knights to serve chowder and clam cakes on Lenten Fridays
PAWTUCKET — St. John Paul II Council #12613 and Delaney/St Teresa Council #57 will be serving chowder and clam cakes on Fridays during Lent from 5-7 p.m., except for Good Friday, and will be held at St. John Paul II Parish, 745 Central Ave. Cups of red or white chowder, half-dozen or dozen clam cakes will be available for dine-in or curbside pick-up. Lenten Fish Fry at the Shrine of the Little Flower
NASONVILLE — On Fridays in Lent, the Shrine of the Little Flower, 35 Dion Drive, will hold their annual Lenten fish fry from 4-7 p.m. The menu will feature fish and chips, coleslaw, tartar sauce and grapenut pudding and will be available for dine-in or take out. Knights plan Lenten Fish Dinners
PORTSMOUTH — The Knights of Columbus Council 3618 will offer baked fish dinners for Lent in the St. Barnabas Social Hall on Fridays starting February 23 and continuing March 1, 8 and 15, starting at 5 p.m. The menu includes New England clam chowder, baked Atlantic cod, coleslaw, rice or mashed potatoes, roll with butter, dessert, water, soda, coffee or tea. In addition, a lobster salad dinner will also be offered. Children under 6 eat for free. Take-out will be available. Ticket sales are in advance only and will be sold up to 2 p.m. on the Thursday before each dinner. Tickets can be purchased at St. Barnabas and St. Anthony’s parish offices, and after all Masses. St. Francis de Sales to present “Whispers in the Darkness: A Lenten Reflection”
NORTH KINGSTOWN — The St. Francis de Sales Music Ministry will host “Whispers in the Darkness: A Lenten Reflection,” on Sunday, March 10, or Monday, March 11 at 7 p.m., in the parish center, 381 School St. This theatrical evening focuses on the temptation of sin during our quiet moments when we feel as if no one is watching. The night will consist of dramatic monologues coupled with both Christian and secular music that complement the theme of the evening. The event is designed to be a powerful and moving experience for all.

McVinney Presents: The Vigil Project
PROVIDENCE — Elevate your Lent with the Vigil Project, a collective of musical artists dedicated to leading people to an encounter with God through music performing in McVinney Auditorium, 43 Dave Gavitt Way, on Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. This group of internationally known musicians are featured on the Hallow app and are set to perform at the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress. Saint Joseph to hold All Day Confessions for 21st Year
WOONSOCKET — All-Day Confessions will be held at Saint Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Road, on Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The day provides local Catholics the opportunity to go to confession on a day specifically designed to alleviate any uneasiness they may have about confessing. The all-day confessions event is designed to address the fears that many people have about returning to this sacrament after years away. Volunteers will be available to answer questions, written instructions will be provided, and up to four priests will be available at all times. Over a dozen local priests in total take part in the day. Each confessional is equipped for both screen and face-to-face options. Signs will be posted to clearly indicate where to wait, and music will be playing to ensure that voices will not be heard by others. Call the church at 401-766-0626 for more information.
2024 Faith Formation Convocation
PROVIDENCE — The 2024 Faith Formation Convocation will be held at Bryant University on March 16. The event will feature more than 20 speakers, including keynote speaker Matthew Leonard, and breakout sessions in both English and Spanish, Holy Mass with Bishop Robert C. Evans, an Exhibitor Showcase, Adoration and Benediction. Good Friday Walk through Good Friday Walk through Narragansett
NARRAGANSETT — St. Thomas More Parish invites all parishioners and friends as we carry the cross though the streets of Narragansett as a re-enactment of Jesus’ final journey to Calvary, noon on Good Friday, March 29 at St. Thomas More Church on 53 Rockland St. We will walk outside via Ocean Rd., along the sea wall and under the Narragansett Towers. Divine Mercy Holy Hour
PORTSMOUTH — St. Barnabas Church will host a Divine Mercy Holy Hour on Sunday, April 7.
