Quo Vadis retreat a fun, prayer-filled opportunity to grow in virtues that make up a good Catholic man

Posted

This summer, 20 high school men took part in the annual Quo Vadis retreat at Our Lady of Providence Seminary. The men stayed at the seminary for 4 days, 3 nights. This year’s theme was “To the heights!” based on the quote from Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. The goal of the retreat was to allow the young men to grow in the virtues that make up the good, Catholic man in today’s world. Their time at Our Lady of Providence Seminary included praying together, daily Mass, including Mass with Bishop Robert C. Evans, talks from priests, seminarians and lay men on those virtues. The retreat also include a day trip to Mother of Hope Camp and lots of time to just spend with each other talking, relaxing and playing games like ultimate Frisbee. Next year’s retreat is scheduled for July 26-29, 2020.
