The Prout Hockey team took the “season of giving” to heart. The team and Coach John Gaffney recently visited the MAE Organization for the Homeless in Cranston to deliver gifts for several “adopted” families. Beyond the delivery, the players met with staff to learn about the critical year-round work MAE does for Rhode Islanders, from emergency outreach to long-term housing stabilization. As Coach Gaffney puts it: “It’s very important to give back. We’ve always had that mission. It’s about helping each other.”
