PROVIDENCE — Providence College (PC) announced today that the PC School of Business’s (PCSB) Part-Time MBA Program was featured among the top 100 part-time MBA programs nationally in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s ranking. The Part-Time Program came in at number 100 in this latest survey and continues to be the top ranked part-time MBA program in Rhode Island and on the South Coast.
“It is exciting to have the PC Part-Time MBA in the top 100 schools of the 2023 U.S. News ranking,” said Dr. Sylvia Maxfield, dean of the Providence College School of Business. “We have been feeling the momentum in this program for some time, though. It is energizing to witness student/faculty interactions, see the innovative ideas students present to corporate partners, and, of course, help students achieve career advancement. As we continue to align graduate business curricula with the needs of regional companies, we know our well-educated graduates will go on to lead dynamic businesses in Rhode Island and beyond.”
“We have been making consistent improvements to the PC MBA program, which, I believe, are reflected in PC’s rise in this ranking,” said Senior Associate Dean Jacqueline Elcik, Ph.D., who oversees the program. “In addition to increasing quantitative elements throughout the curriculum, we have also expanded the number of real-world consulting courses and continue to hire truly fascinating faculty who are deeply committed to our students.”
Providence College offers 20 graduate certificate and degree programs. The PC Part-Time MBA is a management-focused program designed to create a comprehensive understanding of business organizations with an emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving skills, data analysis, and knowledge across a breadth of business disciplines.
