TO THE EDITOR:
It appears that George Weigel is an authority on geriatric medicine and President Joe Biden. In the November 10th edition of the paper, he denigrates our president, with Mr. Weigel’s credentials being that he has spent ‘more than four decades’ working in Washington. Calling his, and my president, ‘cognitively impaired’ and intellectually incapacitated is disrespectful. Obviously, Mr. Weigel strongly disagrees with President Biden’s stand on abortion, and that is to be expected from a Catholic neoconservative; however, in my opinion, he stepped over the line. You can disagree with someone on moral grounds, but personal attacks get us nowhere, except to divide us even more than we already are.
