EAST GREENWICH — The 21 students in the OLM Children’s Choir did not mind donning their school uniforms for an extra-curricular event in the evening of Friday, February 7. Under the direction of OLM Children’s Choir director and school music teacher Mrs. Shirley Medici, the students were invited to sing the National Anthem at the start of the Providence College men’s hockey game against Maine at Schneider Arena on PC’s campus. The children’s choir, open to students beginning in grade 3, is one of the many extracurricular opportunities in the arts at OLM, which also include band, drama club, and drama productions offered to students in Pre-K-8.
