Father Narciso installed as pastor of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish

On June 16, Father’s Day, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin officially installed Father Richard A. Narciso as the “spiritual father” and pastor of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Johnston. “I’m grateful to Father Narciso for his willingness to accept this new responsibility. He’s one of our fine priests. We pray that God will bless him abundantly now and in the days and the years to come. It’s an important moment for him as he continues his fine priestly ministry, but it’s an important moment for your whole parish community ministry as well, as you continue and start writing a new chapter in your parish history to build on the very good and important strong foundation that Father LaPointe has provided for you,” Bishop Tobin said, acknowledging with applause the presence at the Mass of former Pastor Father John G. LaPointe, who retired from active ministry on Feb. 1.
