On Saturday, Sept. 21, Archbishop Richard G. Henning installed Father Daniel Mahoney as the new pastor of St. Pius X in Westerly. Archbishop Henning gave thanks for Father Mahoney’s unselfish gift of himself for the sake of the parish community.
“You will know His love and you will see it in action through your ministry for the sake of His people,” the archbishop said. “And you already know there is no greater gift than to know that you are participating in that healing and that reconciling work of our savior Jesus Christ. So tonight, we celebrate you and we pray for you.”
