PROVIDENCE — The 2023 Faith Formation Convocation will be held in-person at Bryant University on March 18. This special event is an opportunity to grow in personal and missionary discipleship and to encourage one another for the mission of evangelization. The event will feature more than 25 speakers and breakout sessions in both English and Spanish, Holy Mass with Coadjutor Bishop Richard G. Henning, serving as celebrant and homilist, an Exhibitor Showcase, Adoration and Benediction.
The annual convocation is a wonderful opportunity for Catholics throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas to be inspired, renewed, and engage in conversations with other Catholics about the best practices for evangelization.
This year, the Office of Faith Formation is pleased to welcome Steve Ray as keynote speaker. Ray is a national Catholic presenter, Bible teacher, pilgrimage leader, documentary producer and convert to the Catholic faith. His talk will be entitled, “Is the Mass Really a Sacrifice?” He will offer dynamic testimony in his presentation on the biblical truth of the Real Presence of the Eucharist and its true nature as a sacrifice.
All are welcome to come and pray together for a renewal of faith and hope among Catholics.
Hundreds of people attend this event each year. For more information, including a full list of speakers and topics, schedule, or to register, visit faithformationconvocation.com. This event is sponsored by the Office of Faith Formation for the Diocese of Providence.
