NARRAGANSETT — Kevin P. Masse, 69, of Narragansett, passed away on Monday, Feb. 20, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Warwick, to his loving parents, the late Theodore and Lucille (Shader) Masse. Kevin was the beloved husband of Anne (Masso) Masse for 36 years.
Kevin graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.A. in art in 1975. He later graduated from Providence College with a Master’s in Pastoral Studies and was ordained a deacon in 1994. He also received an M.B.A. in 2001 from the University of Westminster. Kevin was a graphic designer, artist, avid runner, scout leader and soccer coach. He enjoyed skiing, fishing and traveling.
Besides his wife, Kevin is survived by his children, Julie, Rayna, Nicole, Gabrielle and Peter, and six grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by his son Joel Powers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Feb. 27, in St. Thomas More Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association or to St. Thomas More Church of Narragansett.
