PROVIDENCE — The Catholic Communication Campaign is an annual national collection to support evangelization through the internet, television, radio, and print. In the Diocese of Providence, the faithful can support this work through their collection on the second weekend in June. Fifty percent of funds support local communications and digital evangelization here in Rhode Island, with the rest supporting similar efforts of the Church around the globe.
If you’ve livestreamed Mass from the Cathedral, watched videos and reels about the Catholic faith or from the Bishop, read the weekly e-news in your inbox, followed the spiritual reflections for Lent and Advent, seen updates about our bishop, ministries, and parishes in Rhode Island on social media, or caught news about our diocese on the local TV channels—then you’ve seen first-hand the important and wide-ranging work this collection makes possible.
There’s more need than ever to create spiritual, catechetical, and evangelizing content for the Catholics across our Ocean State. Every donation makes more of that possible. Help us tell the heart-warming stories about our vital charitable ministries, highlight the good things happening in our more than 120 parishes and 35 schools, and reach more Catholics with the wisdom and reflections of our beloved religious, priests and deacons, and our new shepherd, Bishop Bruce Lewandowski as he begins his episcopal ministry amongst us.
Help all this Good News reach more people and invigorate our Church in Rhode Island— support Catholic Communications in the Diocese of Providence at https://provd.io/ccc or in your second collection June 7–8.
