The Hillbilly Thomists ‘Strange Land’ Tour

Discernment Camp
KINGSTON — The University of Rhode Island Catholic Center, 90 Chapel Way, will be the site for the annual Quo Vadis Discernment Camp from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2. Annual Shrine Anniversary Day
BURRILLVILLE — The Shrine of the Little Flower, 35 Dion Drive (Nasonville section), will celebrate its Annual Shrine Anniversary Day on Sunday, Aug. 16, celebrating 103 years of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church and Shrine of the Little Flower. Beginning at noon, visitors can use outdoor picnic tables; hot dogs and hamburgers will be available from the outdoor grill, or guests may bring their own lunch. CENTRAL FALLS — A Rosary of Migration for detained migrant brothers and sisters will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, beginning at 11 a.m. Participants will meet at Fuerza Laboral, 6 Chases Lane, and walk together to the Wyatt Detention Center at 950 High St. to pray the Rosary on the public sidewalk from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. before returning to Fuerza Laboral.
