The Our Lady of Mercy School Walkathon, held on Thursday, October 2, raised more than $12,900, which will benefit a variety of enrichment programs during the school year.

The event is an annual favorite among students, faculty and parents. While the rain threatened the skies, spirits were high and the event was a huge success. Students collected pledges from family and friends, with prizes being awarded to the top pledge earners in each grade. Funds raised each year through Our Lady of Mercy Parent-Teacher Guild sponsored events like the Walkathon and the annual Spring Fling Auction, are used for various enrichment opportunities like the Art Masters Program, Science Olympiad, robotics, CAL sports and more.
