In thanksgiving for all current, retired and fallen police, fire, first responders and their families, the Diocese of Providence will celebrate the Blue Mass on Sunday, September 24, at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Cathedral Square, Providence. Rhode Island federal and local law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, families and representatives are invited to join the community in prayer and bestow blessings upon all those who serve. Everyone is invited to come together to honor these men and women for their courageous service and pray for their safety.
