To the Editor:
I was disappointed in the tone of the editorial "Teach Abstinence" in the May 17 issue of The Visitor. It seem to me that demonizing those one disagrees with as "rabid pro-abortion radicals" can lead to a mindset justifying a "pro-life" sniper who kills an abortionist doctor. Rather, we should turn the page to Patrick Reid's column, where we find, "Unity will never be achieved...by the shrillness of acrimonious debates, but only through the sign of love modeled on Jesus."
