The Prout School Performing Arts Department will present ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ on Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8, at 7 p.m. A loving send-up of the 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Tickets may be purchased online at www.theproutschool.org. In honor of The Prout School’s 50th anniversary, the school will host a reception prior to the Saturday performance. Any individual who was involved in Prout theater productions over the past 50 years is invited to attend. This includes graduates of Bishop Hendricken High School who participated in joint theatrical performances with The Prout School.
