Taste & Sea at Monsignor Clarke School

Posted

More than 200 people gathered on the back lawn under the stars in support of Monsignor Clarke School on Saturday, September 15. This is the 3rd annual event that includes live music, food and local beer, wine and spirits to taste. This year, with the help of alum parent, Kevin O’Neill, a Teacher Recognition Fund was launched. O’Neill spoke about his 11-year MCS experience with his 4 children who attended the school and the importance of supporting Catholic School teachers. “Our teachers are the backbone of our school. They consider the work they do each day their personal mission to make each and every child a better person. Often, they give so much above and beyond what is required. We see them here on their days off, weekends attending events and voluntarily running clubs and programs both during and after school and so much more.” This is a restricted fund that will be used to support teachers and continue to grow programs here at our school. Decisions for the use of this fund will be made by the principal and reviewed by the school’s Advisory Board.
