With the entire second grade class of St. Margaret School smiling behind her, Maggie Peterson lights the first candle on the Advent wreath at St. Margaret Church in East Providence.
Along with Christians around the world, the faithful use this light to help prepare their hearts and minds for the birth of Jesus.
