Students bring designs to life with 3D print technology
Bishop Hendricken senior Nick Sylvester looks at a figurine design created by the school’s Flash Forge 3D printer for his engineering class.
New technology meets academics as students design in AutoCad 2016 and see their work come to life with the 3D printer. Keychains, figurines, chess pieces and iPhone cases are just the beginnings of what they are capable of making.
“Almost anything they can imagine, they can 3D print,” said Bishop Hendricken teacher Mark DiPippo.
