We thank Bishop Tobin for standing up and unequivocally stating our Catholic belief on the sanctity of human life in the face of unfortunate public statements by Rep. Kennedy.
It is sad and hard to understand how Rep. Patrick Kennedy in his public statements confuses social justice with murder of the unborn and taxpayers’ rights not to have to pay for the immoral deeds of others.
The right to life is given by God, and it is not up to men, regardless how misguided they may be, to interfere with that right.
