St. Rose of Lima School in Warwick recently held its school level National Geographic GeoBee. Students in grades 4-8 have qualified to participate at the school level and one winner will have to take an online test from National Geographic to pass it in order to be invited to the state level competition in March. The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual competition designed to inspire and reward students’ curiosity about the world. Students from nearly 10,000 schools across the United States will compete in the 2019 National Geographic GeoBee for a chance to win college scholarships and the glory of being the National Geographic GeoBee Champion. This program is new to St. Rose of Lima School which has been implemented from the new Middle School Teacher Mrs. Denise Moretti-Foggo.
