St. Philip School gives back to storm victims

St. Philip students, donning their green for a St. Patrick’s themed dress down day, donated money for disaster relief efforts for the victims of the recent catastrophic storms in Alabama and Georgia. The school collected $800 for Catholic Charities USA, which ensures that 100 percent of the funds go to the local agencies that help the victims with shelter, food and other recovery needs, both immediate and long-term. At right, Robert Natale, Grade 8, accepts a donation from second grader Emily DeMaio.
