TO THE EDITOR:
Mr. Daniel Fleurant was selected as an Amica Companies Foundation 2018 Employee Community Involvement Award Recipient in recognition for the time and effort he has devoted as a volunteer to the Special Religious Education (SPRED) Ministry in the Office of the Apostolate for People with Disabilities, one of the ministries supported by the Diocese of Providence Catholic Charity Fund. The Amica award consisted of a monetary donation to the Catholic Charity Fund’s SPRED Ministry.
Daniel is a Cumberland resident and an active member at his parish, St Joan of Arc. He has been involved in the SPRED ministry for over 20 years. He always has a smile and selflessly volunteers hundreds of hours. One of Dan’s precious gifts is his humility; he will do any job needed without hesitation, and with a smile. Thanks to Daniel’s help our trainings, liturgies, picnics, retreats and any event we embark on have been a source of spiritual growth to all who participate. Thank you Daniel, May God bless you abundantly.
