Sacred Heart Church plans Christmas Bazaar
WEST WARWICK — The annual Sacred Heart Church Christmas Bazaar will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 from noon – 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. The event will feature, arts and crafts, a penny social, roll-ups, jewelry, homemade pastries, a wine booth, special raffle and more. Knights of Columbus to host turkey raffle
RIVERSIDE —The Knights of Columbus Bishop Hickey Council #3623 will host a turkey raffle on Friday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m. Complete Thanksgiving dinners to be won. Win turkeys and many other raffle prizes. Lincoln Knights to host breakfast for veterans, first responders
LINCOLN — In honor of their service to the country and community, the Lincoln Council Knights of Columbus will host breakfast for veterans and first Responders on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. The breakfast will be prepared and served by members of the Knights of Columbus at the Council Home at 171 Jenckes Hill Road, Lincoln. All veterans and first responders in the community are welcome to attend. There is no charge for this full breakfast. The Knights of Columbus are also collecting brand new items in support of Operation ROVAC (Remembering Our Veterans at Christmas). The items collected will be donated to men and women at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol, RI. Suggested items are winter hats, gloves, and scarves, shirts, pajamas, underwear, khaki pants, jeans, sweatpants, sweaters, and jackets. (Sizes medium - 4X). Also DVD movies, CD’s, greeting cards and full size Dove soap, stick deodorant, shaving cream and cologne/perfume.

Pro-life film ‘Unplanned’ to be shown at St. Luke’s

WOONSOCKET — Holy Trinity Parish (formerly Our Lady Queen of Martyrs), will hold its annual Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Monsignor Gadoury School, Norm Malo Hall, 1371 Park Ave. The bazaar will feature many vendors and many parish booths including baked goods and fudge. Knights of Columbus Book Sale slated
PROVIDENCE — The St. Augustine Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold its annual book sale fundraiser following all Masses on the weekend of November 9 and 10, at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Mass for healing offered at St. James Chapel

Coping with Grief during the Holidays
EAST PROVIDENCE —The Office of Life and Family will offer a special workshop, “Coping with Grief during the Holidays,” which will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., on Monday, Nov. 18, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at the rectory (side door, downstairs). Coping with grief during the holidays can be a time of great sorrow and apprehension. Many struggle with pain, loss, and feelings of emptiness, as well as countless other difficult thoughts and emotions. This workshop is designed to help those who are grieving to begin to heal and establish healthy ways to cope during the holidays with meaning, love and purpose, all within the light of the Catholic faith. Office of Life and Family to offer the Our Lady of Sorrows Bereavement Support program
JOHNSTON — The Office of Life and Family will offer the Our Lady of Sorrows Bereavement Support program at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., downstairs in lower church (not handicap accessible). The meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 8 p.m., November 19, through January 21, 2020, except for the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s. This support group provides a peaceful place to share and learn about grief with the spiritual comfort of the Catholic faith. Christ the King to host annual concert
