Join Bishop Tobin for a Pilgrimage to La Salette Shrine to pray for vocations

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — All are welcome to join Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, priests, seminarians and lay faithful from around the Diocese to make a pilgrimage to La Salette Shrine in Attleboro to pray for vocations to priesthood and the consecrated life during our Diocesan Year with Mary Our Mother. The day will begin on Saturday, Nov. 11, at La Salette at 11 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m. It will include Mass with the Bishop, lunch, an outdoor rosary and opportunities for prayer and confessions. Fifth annual Coat Drive at The Villa at Saint Antoine

NORTH SMITHFIELD — Share the warmth this coming season and donate hats, scarves, gloves and gently used coats to families, individuals, and children in the community. Collection starts now until Wednesday, Nov. 22. Drop off location: Villa at Saint Antoine, 400 Mendon Road. All items will be distributed the day after Thanksgiving to several community agencies helping families in need.

Christmas Bazaar to be held at Sacred Heart Church

WEST WARWICK — Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Friday, Nov. 3 from noon – 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. The bazaar will feature, arts and crafts, handmade items, a penny social, roll ups, pastries, a wine booth, jewelry booth, baskets and more. Holy Spirit Parish to hold annual bazaar

CENTRAL FALLS — Holy Spirit Church, located at the corner of Dexter and West Hunt streets, will hold its annual bazaar on Friday, Nov. 3, from 5-9 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 1-9 p.m. The bazaar will feature a money raffle, a giant penny social for adults and children with hundreds of gifts, booths and games. The kitchen will serve hamburgers, hot dogs, dynamites, empanadas, tacos and other treats. Admission is free.

Saint Bartholomew Church to host parish bazaar

PROVIDENCE — Saint Bartholomew Church will host a parish bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., in the parish hall located downstairs from the church, at 297 Laurel Hill Ave. There will be handmade items, crafts, baked goods and a religious table. Autumn Leaves Bazaar at St. Theresa’s Church

HARRISVILLE — St. Theresa’s Church, 35 Dion Drive, will hold its annual Autumn Leaves Bazaar on November 3, from noon – 7 p.m.; November 4, from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and November 5, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The bazaar includes a penny social, more than 40 gift certificates, a silent auction, gift baskets, sweets booth, homemade goodies, raffles, including a cash raffle, and a hand-crafted mosaic garden globe and attic treasures. The kitchen will be serving fish and chips or baked fish on Friday; and on Saturday afternoon and evening chowder and clam cakes. The kitchen will be open throughout the weekend as well. Christmas Bazaar scheduled at Holy Family Parish

PAWTUCKET — Holy Family Parish will host their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., in the parish hall, 195 Walcott St. Highlights include a large cash raffle with prizes totaling $500, a large gifts raffle with items valued at $75 or more; a gift basket raffle valued from $20-$40, and jewelry and crafts for sale, with a children’s booth and kitchen open all day. Proceeds from the bazaar support parish ministries as local services to the poor.

All Saints Parish to host Christmas Bazaar

WOONSOCKET — All Saints Parish, 323 Rathbun St., will host their Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the church hall. Featured will be a gift card wreath worth $1,000, themed baskets, a penny social, pick-a-card, pick-a-straw, a 50/50 drawing and bake sale, breakfast, lunch, vendors and much more. Bring your letter for Santa, who will be at the bazaar all day. There will also be pre-made Christmas gift baskets for sale, as well as a children’s gift table with gifts that kids can buy — each for under $5. Harvest Happening ‘Fall into Fun’

WARREN — St. Alexander Church, 221 Main St., will be hosting a Harvest Happening “Fall into Fun” on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. - noon. The event will include a gift basket bonanza, knitted items, jewelry, handcrafted holiday ornaments and centerpieces. There will also be activities for children. In addition, continental breakfast will be available both days and the Italian Kitchen will be serving homemade soup, sandwiches and homemade baked goods.

St. Joseph Church to host annual bazaar

NORTH SCITUATE — St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, will hold its annual bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 5, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The event will feature a penny social, sweet shop, jams and jellies, gift baskets, books, and an almost-new room. Vendors will include Pampered Chef, Knit to Find a Cure, jewelry, honey, handmade greeting cards, stained glass items, oils and soaps, scarves and more. Autumn Breakfast to be held at Our Lady of Loreto

EAST PROVIDENCE — Our Lady of Loreto’s Social Ministry Group will be sponsoring an annual Autumn Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. The menu will include eggs, homefries, beans, pancakes, sausage, ham, breakfast pastries, fruit salad, juices and hot beverages. Tickets can be purchased by calling 434-3535. Sacred Heart planning Harvest Bazaar

WOONSOCKET — Sacred Heart Parish, 415 Olo St., will hold its annual Harvest Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The bazaar will feature a sweet shop, split the pot game, gift certificates, a wine booth, grandma’s attic, raffles, lottery wreath, grab bags and kids’ corner. The kitchen will serve both meat and salmon pies, along with other delicacies. Major prizes to be drawn will include a first prize of $500; second prize of $300; third prize of a liquor basket; fourth prize of a $250 Visa card; fifth prize of a men’s or women’s bike. Applefest to be held at St. Joseph Church

PASCOAG — St. Joseph Church’s Applefest will be held on November 4, following 5:30 p.m. Mass, in the handicapped accessible church hall, 183 Sayles Ave. The event will feature major raffle prizes, themed baskets, a lottery tree and more. WARWICK — St. Vincent de Paul Society will host a fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Uno’s 399 Bald Hill Road, from 11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Up to 20 percent will be donated to the St. Paul Conference/St. Vincent. Dine-in or take out. Must bring certificate, available at St. Paul’s, and present it to the server. Any catering orders between now and November 5 will also receive the same percentage.

St. Stanislaus Kostka Church to host Christmas Bazaar

WOONSOCKET — St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 174 Harris Ave., will host a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. St. Nick will visit the bazaar during the day. The event will feature more than 100 prizes, a wheelbarrow of cheer, raffles, pick-a-straw, turkey trot, and hourly drawing. There will be a unique selection of items to purchase as well. All Souls Day Vesper Service

PROVIDENCE — St. Agnes Church, 351 Branch Ave., will celebrate a special All Souls Service to remember all deceased love ones on Monday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. in the church. The evening will include music, the Evening Prayer of the Dead and a homily, with a reception will follow in the church hall.

Daughters of Isabella meeting scheduled

WARWICK — The St. Benedict Circle #423 Daughters of Isabella will meet on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., and 6 p.m. for desk officers, in the church hall. Memorial Mass scheduled for deceased Knights of St. Francis Council

NORTH KINGSTOWN — A Memorial Mass for deceased Brother Knights of St. Francis Council will be held on November 7, at 7 p.m. at the council hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road.. Mass will be celebrated by Father Stephen Battey and Father Nick Smith, chaplain. All family members of deceased Brother Knights are invited to attend. A light collation will be held at the conclusion of the Mass.

‘Spirit and Life’ prayer meetings scheduled

WARWICK — Saints Rose and Clement Parish, 111 Long St., will hold the “Spirit and Life” prayer meeting on November 8 and 29, beginning with Rosary at 6:30 p.m., followed by scripture study and healing prayer at 7 p.m.

Holy Ghost Church to celebrate annual parish reunion

SWANSEA, Mass. — Holy Ghost Church, Rhode Island’s first Italian national parish, invites the community to celebrate 128 years of dedication to God and His people. All are welcomed to join in on the festivities on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Venus de Milo, Swansea, Mass. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by an evening of music, memories, prizes and more. WOONSOCKET — Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish in Woonsocket will hold their annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Norm Malo Hall at Msgr. Gadoury School 1371 Park Ave., which is handicapped accessible. Mass for Health and Healing planned

WARREN — On Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at St. Jean Baptiste Church, 324 Main St., the community will celebrate the monthly Mass for Health and Healing. This Mass takes place on the second Tuesday evening of each month. All who are experiencing emotional, physical or spiritual challenges are encouraged to receive the sacrament of the sick and be prayed with. Following Mass the sacrament of reconciliation will be available. All are welcome.

RIVERSIDE — Columbiettes #3623 are hosting a Turkey Raffle Fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m., at the East Providence Knights of Columbus Council, 3200 Pawtucket Ave. The event will also feature raffles, bake sale, free hotdogs and chili, cash bar for those 21+. Please bring non-perishable, unexpired food items and get free tickets to be entered into a raffle. All food items collected will be donated to Hope and Faith Food Drive.
