Sacred Heart Parish to host Patronal Feast
EAST PROVIDENCE — Sacred Heart Parish, 118 Taunton Ave., will hold their Patronal Feast on May 31, June 1 and 2. Friday: Food, bazaar and game booths open 6-10 p.m., music by DJ; Saturday: Regular Vigil Mass 5 p.m., all booths open 6 – 10 p.m., auction 7:30 p.m.; music by DJ; Sunday: Coffee and malassadas available after all Masses. Procession with Blessed Sacrament and the statue of the Sacred Heart following 11:30 a.m. Mass. All booths open 12:30-8 p.m. Grand Raffle Drawing at 8 p.m.
All-You-Can-Eat Chowder & Clam Cakes fundraiser
NORTH SMITHFIELD — The Villa at Saint Antoine will host its third annual All-You-Can-Eat Chowder & Clam Cakes fundraiser on Friday, May 31, from 3:30 - 7 p.m. in its courtyard, 400 Mendon Road. Red, clear and white chowders will be featured as well as clam cakes. Take-out will be available. There will also be beer and wine for those 21+, along with soda, bottled water, fresh baked brownies and cookies available for purchase. A Mass for healing for all types of addictions to be celebrated
