TO?THE?EDITOR:
In Patricia Healey’s letter to the Editor “Vitriol is not political discourse”, she mentions Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter soon after “hate, overthrow and violence”.
I would be more inclined to believe Patricia – if she would have mentioned a few liberals who regularly dispense “hate, overthrow and violence”. To keep the note short, I will not offer a list – do a little online hunt and you will find that rough political discourse is our history – on both the liberal and conservative side. The ill feelings across those groups are promoted by letters like Patricia’s. It should not have been published.
