Robert H. Grenon, 56

PROVIDENCE – Robert H. “Bob” Grenon, 56, died May 4 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Diane M. (Fregeau) Grenon, and brother of Father Paul R. Grenon, pastor of Sts. John and Paul Church, Coventry.

Born in Attleboro, Mass., he was the son of the late Roger H. and Annette T. (Gingras) Grenon. He was raised in Pawtucket and was a 1973 graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School. He also attended Bryant College, and was a parishioner of St. Jude Church, Lincoln.

He was employed as a driver/salesman for Stateline Potato Chips and was a night manager at McKeever’s IGA in Warwick. Prior to his illness, he was employed as the shipper/receiver at A. & H. Duffy and MCM Technologies in Cranston for 6 years.

In addition to his wife and Father Grenon, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Lincourt of Pawtucket; a son, Michael R. Grenon of Cranston; a granddaughter; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 9 at St Jude Church. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
