Rhode Island Catholic Women's Conference scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21

PROVIDENCE — A special event is planned for all women who desire to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ through scripture, prayer, liturgy, and fellowship with other women. The annual Rhode Island Catholic Women’s Conference is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul beginning at 8 a.m. with Mass. Check in will begin at 7 a.m. Infants in arms are welcome.
The day will feature dynamic and encouraging talks, vendors, swag bags, live music ministry, coffee an’ and lunch. This year’s event features speakers Kelly Wahlquist and Angela Franks, Ph. D.
Wahlquist is a dynamic and inspiring Catholic speaker whose gift of weaving personal stories and Scripture together with practical advice allows her audience to be true witnesses of the faith.
Franks is a theologian, speaker, writer, and mother of six. She serves as Professor of Theology at St. John's Seminary in Boston.
