This program is one of many efforts the diocesan Respect Life Office shares information and Catholic teachings on life-related issues. Abortion and euthanasia have become the most preeminent threats to life and the dignity of life because they are a direct attack against life itself. As Catholics, it is imperative in today’s society to create an awareness of the other direct and indirect issues that threatens human life. As the Respect Life Office moves forward with programs and offerings, the mission of the office remains the same. In work and in one’s personal life, the following must be considered: protecting the weakest in our society – the innocent unborn child, the violence of abortion, euthanasia, the burdens of illness, disability and aging, the destruction of human embryos, the death penalty, the institution of marriage, immigration reform, helping families to overcome poverty, and all else.

This program is produced by the Diocesan Office of Communications with partial funding from the annual Catholic Communication Campaign Collection.
