Eighteen couples seeking to validate in the Catholic Church their civilly attempted marriages attended a retreat geared especially for them on May 31 and June 1 at the Diocese of Providence Chancery office building in Providence. A diocesan team consisting of five couples under the supervision of the Diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministry and in collaboration with the Marriage Preparation and Faith Formation Offices facilitated the retreat. Many participants shared that they were motivated to seek marriage in the Catholic Church after attending the Caìmbiame a mi Señor retreats.
