Priests attend annual study day, honor jubilarians

Posted

Diocesan priests attended the annual Priest’s Study Day at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick on Monday, May 1, for prayer and fellowship and to listen to a presentation by Brian Roland Corbin, who has served as the Secretary of the National Board of Trustees for Catholic Charities of USA and chaired the National Advisory Council of the USCCB. Corbin discussed Catholic Charities as “a ministry of the Bishop that enables us to continue the work of the early apostles in caring for the widows, orphans and strangers among us.” Following evening prayer, priests celebrating jubilee anniversaries were recognized for their years of service to the diocese by Bishop Thomas J. Tobin.
