The Our Lady of Mercy boys and girls soccer team advanced to the Catholic Athletic League State Championship on May 19, with a 3-2 win over Father John V. Doyle School of Coventry.
The OLM Jaguars will now face St. Thomas in the championship on Friday, May 30 at 6 p.m. at the Wheeler Farm Complex in Seekonk, Mass. This will be OLM’s first appearance in the championship game. The team roster includes sixth-graders Kelly Gallagher, Grace Pelletier, Charlie McGowan, Andrew Caskey, Logan Cuthill, Andrew White, Colin Caldwell, Ben Kane and Michael Hanlon; seventh-graders Catherine Medeiros, Caitlyn Murphy, Dekontee Barnard; and eighth-graders Nick Mueller, Brittany Caskey, Brandon Arpin and Jack Hogan.
