Mount St. Charles Students Respond to Devastation in Haiti
Hurricanes Hanna and Ike recently struck the country of Haiti. Thousands of homes were damaged and thousands of livestock were washed away. For several years, the Religious of Jesus and Mary have ministered to the poor in Haiti. Sr. Jackie Crepeau, R.J.M. the Curriculum Coordinator at Mount St. Charles Academy, appealed to the student body to provide assistance to the victims of the hurricanes. The student government sponsored a dress down day for charity and raised $3,624. The money will be used to provide food and basic necessities.
