SPRING BREAK ALTERNATIVE: Twelve students and three staff members, Emily Clary, Richard Jolicoeur and Nadine Richer, from Mount St. Charles Academy spent their February vacation volunteering on a Navajo Reservation in Ganado, Arizona. The students, who financed their own trip, stayed on the reservation at St. Ann's Mission, in the Klagetoh Chapter, the second poorest chapter in the Navajo Nation. Members of the group worked on a variety of jobs including painting rooms, retiling floors, building bookshelves and visiting the children and the elderly. Pictured in the front row, left to right are Amy Plouffe, Rachel Paquin, Ryan Glode, Nicholas Martin, and Domenique Ciavattone. In the back row, left to right, Kevin Peloquin, Emily Foster, William Gottlieb, Elizabeth Garceau, Evan Platek, Shayna Cogswell, and Amy Horton.
