A beautiful crucifix, designed and created by the late artist Brother Richard Roy, SC., once showcased in the chapel in the Brothers of the Sacred Heart residence at Mount Saint Charles Academy, fell from the wall and was broken. Two freshmen, Olivia Charbonneau and Bridget Lewis, have recreated the original piece.
They worked on it before and after school and during free class time. The crucifix currently hangs on the left wall as soon as one enters the school’s gymnasium. A plaque will soon be displayed alongside this piece of art crediting the students for their hard work and talent.
