EAST PROVIDENCE — East Coast Wellness, a Providence-based organization that provides comprehensive therapeutic services, has partnered with Sacred Heart School in East Providence to offer clinical counseling to students in need.

This program is offered at no cost to the school; services are billed directly to the parents’ insurance companies. In cases where students are not insured or are underinsured, a small fee will be charged to cover the cost of services.

The agency’s School Based Therapy Program offers student therapy by highly skilled clinicians at school during school hours in building locations that protect the students’ privacy. These clinicians are licensed to provide treatment in the state of Rhode Island.

“We are delighted to offer Sacred Heart School students a variety of mental health services for those students in need. This represents an important addition to the quality and extent of programs designed to address the educational, spiritual, emotional, and psychological well-being of each of our students,” Principal Mo Guernon, explained.

“Students can now benefit from the highest quality of care and the most individualized experience possible right on the school premises,” added Tracy Young, LICSW, at East Coast Mental Wellness.

East Coast Mental Wellness has earned a reputation for providing a wide variety of family, couple, group and individual counseling services.
