The St. Mary Academy - Bay View cross country team volunteered at the Jamestown Half Marathon on Saturday, July 12, managing a fuel station for more than 1,600 runners.
A crew of Bay View athletes, coach Carol Beaudette and parent volunteers worked together to provide water, Gatorade, energy gel and bananas to runners of the half marathon. According to Beaudette, “It was a great experience for the girls, as well as a wonderful team bonding activity.”
